Battle Memorial Hall

Registered Charity Number 305165

The Memorial Hall serves over 26,000 users annually, in a community isolated by its rural location. The Memorial Hall was established in 1959 to honour those who gave their lives in the First World War. Since then, the building has been a valuable resource used by many organisations in the town and surrounding rural areas. The original part of the building is Grade II listed, but has been extended over the years to include further rooms and facilities. We have been fortunate to receive funding from Foundations as well as donations from the local public in order to keep most of our facilities up to date. The Memorial Hall is a registered, not-for-profit charity. We receive no funding from the local council, and rely entirely on hirer fees to cover the running costs of the building.
