The National Flood Forum

Registered Charity Number 1121642

The National Flood Forum exists to help, support and represent individuals and communities at risk of flooding. We understand the impact a flood can have on lives and livelihoods. We care about putting people first to ensure they are aware of their flood risk, in control of their own lives and able to recover if flooding should occur.

We’ve been supporting flood-hit communities across the country for the past 14 years. Our values are rooted in respect, empathy and independence.

As an independent charity we take the time to listen to the challenges individuals and communities face.

We do this by:

- Helping people to recover after they have been flooded

- Supporting and listening to communities so they feel empowered to manage their flood risk

- Representing people at risk of flooding to ensure the authorities and government develop a community perspective.

Every donation we receive helps us to be there for even more people who are at risk of flooding. We know that climate change, an increasing population and the need for more buildings and developments will mean flooding is an issue that will affect many more of us in future. Let's work together to limit the devastating impact of flooding.
