The LMC is raising money for
Charity Registration No: 1172967

New Beginnings Reading is a newly formed charity. It was registered in May 2017 in a direct response to the present housing crisis in Reading. The charity trustees have and volunteers have a vast experience of volunteering and supporting the homeless and needy in Reading. The 9 trustees alone have 28 years of volunteering and supporting the homeless in Reading between.

The Queens Arms project aims to promote and support social inclusion and provide basic nutritional and clothing needs to the diverse homeless population in Reading. The project will be embracing to all members of the homeless population and work to actively challenge and reduce the stigma and discrimination attached and experienced by the homeless community as a result of oppression, discrimination, abuse and illness which is often the root cause of people becoming homeless and maintains poverty and deprivation.
